Join us for a three-part book series focused on leadership.
The same issues have plagued our industry for over 30 years and only leadership can help us move past where we are today. Sure, we could look within the industry for guidance, but the reality is if adequate leadership were there, we would be much farther along in righting the ship. Issues like bad passwords and paying ransom would be things of the past. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case. Leadership in cybersecurity is lacking and something needs to be done about it.
Our summer book series is an attempt at opening the minds of people in positions to enact change. Even if you think that you’re not in a position to do so. We’re tapping leadership resources outside the industry from people that have shed light on the topic revolving around other problems in the world. By leveraging this knowledge and capability we hope to help move our industry forward.
Please join us in this journey of growth and exploration as we feature and discuss these three books that tell a story of leadership from different perspectives:
• Our Iceberg is Melting: Changing and Succeeding Under Any Conditions by John Kotter & Holger Rathgeber
• Switch: How to Change Things When Change is Hard by Chip and Dan Heath
• The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Probable by Nassim Nicholas Taleb
We will be giving our perspective on insights featured in these books throughout the summer and hope you join us in the conversation. The first book in our series is Our Iceberg is Melting.
